Formed in the Summer of 1999, Simulcast quickly established itself as one of the premier musical acts of the new millennium. Simulcast mixes the floor rumbling rhythms of a NYC club with the energy of a hard rock arena show to create a truly unique techno-dance-rock sound and an indescribable live performance. Simulcast comes fully armed with an arsenal of electronics, technical savvy, and the musical integrity to combine it all into an unforgettable sonic experience. Based in New York, Simulcast has already gained international exposure with the single "Infected", which was recently selected as a Finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest dance category. Thousands of tapes were sent in across the entire planet, and "Infected" was chosen by celebrity and industry judges. "Infected" was also chosen as a World Finalist in the Sennheiser Evolution Mic Contest in January of 2000.
Perhaps Simulcast's biggest accomplishment thus far, several of their songs can be heard on the hit MTV show "Undressed." Thanks largely to the Internet and relentless dedication to getting their musical ideas out in the open, Simulcast is being sought after for performances, interviews and promotional opportunities from coast to coast and as far reaching as the UK and Germany.
