Temple of Echoes is a raging combination of Wes Stanton's powerful voice and Mangin's shrieking lead guitar work, coupled with a hard edge driving rhythm section anchored by bassist Randall Leddy and drummer Lafrae Sci. This creates a unique blend of power and passion with influences ranging from Guns N' Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, the Doors and Led Zeppelin. Thus, Temple of Echoes generates "a powerful but raw sound more like one of the great bands of the 1970's while maintaining the relevance needed to succeed in today's music industry." (Douglas Peek - ASCAP)
Temple of Echoes was born from the writing team of Wes Stanton and J. Matthew Riva, great grandson of Marlene Dietrich. Wesley and Matthew met at the age of 6 in New York City. As their paths split years later, the two reunited in 2003 and begun to mold the individual sound that is Temple of Echoes. Upon the addition of Randall and Mangin's writing and playing styles in 2004, Temple of Echoes found the perfect parts to complete its stage line-up and writing team. Sponsored by Paper Denim & Cloth, Temple of Echoes has already recorded a few studio EP's however the new full length album titled (Union)2 (produced and recorded by Saturation Acres with drums provided by Kevin Miller, formerly of the band Fuel) delivers a sound that critics say "pulses with the blood of heavy hitters" (Music Connection) and has been described as "a calling to a time when rock was rock, rather then encumbered with over marketed labels like "punk", "emo", "prog", or whatever else the industry is labeling things these days." (Mark Boudreau - The Rock and Roll Report) Taking a quote from Chris Gilbert, President of Paper Denim & Cloth, "The songs on (Union)2 where a hit when these guys showcased for us a while back but with the additional input from Kevin and Saturation Acres, the album far exceeded my expectations. They have definitely hit a strong chord with this one." For more information about Temple of Echoes go to www.templeofechoes.com.
