This is the final recording by the Kenny James-led project THE WITCHING HOUR. Kenny James, known worldwide as a session/touring musician (George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, Celldweller, 24-7 Spyz, The Samples, and many more), became a solo artist of sorts with THE WITCHING HOUR in the mid 90's.
After moving to Seattle, WA in 2005, Kenny decided to end THE WITCHING HOUR chapter of his career but not without releasing "After the Haunting Silence", a cd that he was working on at the time he decided to "change gears". This cd is a collection songs that were leading him in what he describes as a "new direction". One focused on more atmospheres, and textures, and electronics as well, but without sacrificing his love for guitars and power drumming.
In 2006, Kenny has completely embraced his new direction and new solo project, MY DRAMA (http://www.mydramamusic.com) but remains close to the work he presented throughout THE WITCHING HOUR's lifetime. It was just time for him to move on and as Kenny aptly put it, "...to leave TWH's world behind with one more scar to remember after the haunting silence...".
