Thin Acid Angel was formed in 2000 out of late-night sessions at the legendary Coast Recorders in San Francisco.

Between guitarist Loren Routh and singer Minor Gray the two fused a sound that was both ferocious and moody. After playing with a number of other musicians in the Bay Area clubs, they hit the perfect combination with the addition of bassist Dainzo and drummer Beerwolf.

Old school elements of Judas Priest, UFO and Thin Lizzy can be heard in the band's progressive backdrop - as well as fringed punk style of The Damned. Monster riffs and a driving rhythm lay the foundation for lyrical storytelling.

TAA's live shows are straight-up hard rock, with tight arrangements and an unpredictable stage show.
