Founded in 2000 by ex-Yeast Infection singer Allen Lulu, former Adam Sandler producer Jon Rosenberg,with ex members of Abe Lincoln Story and The Shakes, Throttle Back Sparky combines classic punk aesthetics with danceable beats and "modern feeling lyrics".
Playing to sold out crowds in Los Angeles, their first CD, "Great Big Mardi Gras Head", featuring the oft-requested "Prozac Grrl" & "Riding in the Whirlwind" was released in May 2001.
Their Age on Consent tour continues throught the LA area all summer long.
