The band “Trout†has a long history. Three of its four members have played together for over 15 years. After touring the country’s cover scene in the early 90s, Bass / Vocalist Troy Martenson moved to the Twin Cities to find a group of musicians to write music with. After a year or so of bouncing around and jamming with different artists, Guitarist Rob Wedewer, and long time Drummer, Brian Hoepner all hooked up for the initial start of “Troutâ€. Scott Zimmerman recently joined the band as second guitar and vocalist. This combination has worked well for years. The band has written over twenty-five songs and recently finished their latest cd “Here in the Dirtâ€. The music has a steady rock thump, with melodic overtones and great vocal harmonies.
