I started playing when I was 9 years old and played my first biker bar when I was 14.
Back then, Oklahoma seemed to have a policy that gave rights to the club owners to search you for knives and guns at the door.
If you didn't have any then they were issued to you!
I am originally from Mckenney Texas.
I was moved to Oklahoma because my father died in a car crash when I was 7.
My father was a musician. He played piano, banjo, fiddle, harmonica and guitar. He was a pretty good singer too.
He use to play and sing for me and my 4 brothers and sisters before that car crash.We use to love to hear him perform for us. I never forgot those days and still charish every memory of those days. He loved Hank Williams and Gene Autry.
I guess I was born to carry on the music but I play just a little differant than he did.
I invented "MOTORCYCLE SOUTHERN ROCK"!
