Vicious Fish is an all-original hard rock band from San Francisco. Driven by bandleader Sally Lieber's aggressive vocals, crunchy riffs and fiery lead guitar, the band creates their own hard-edged sound, tempering the songs with a strong focus on melody.
Reminiscent of Heart and The Pretenders, but occasionally channeling Soundgarden and Tool, they handle edgy rock, hard pop and heavy grooves with equal ease.
Vicious Fish have been featured at major live music clubs in the Bay Area, including The Bottom of the Hill, The Paradise Lounge, The Red Devil Lounge, El Rio, The Last Day Saloon, The Hotel Utah, and Club Boomerang, where they shared a bill with local favorites Red Planet. They are getting local radio airplay, and have also appeared on local music TV shows SF Sound and Club Alto.
