"This debut extended play, recorded in Boston, features six songs that showcase the breadth and variety of this musical foursome. The highlight is the groovy “The Love Police,†a catchy creation that leans more to a jam-band song backed by a reggae and rock-steady rhythm. Another strong song is the acoustically-inclined closer, “B side: “Holiday (live),†which was recorded during a concert at the Zombie Room in Nyack, NY. Throughout the disc, but especially on the dreamy “Don’t Leave Me,†Phil Selesnick’s synthesizers take the music to new realms and provide the guide for this rock ’n’ roll ride. Stemming from various parts of the world and beginning in New York, Glint: a little bright spot in a world of darkness is formed.
