Groovulous Glove is a six-piece acid funk/jam rock band that focuses on live improvisation. Their four hour set list consists of original music with a few re-worked stylized cover tunes. Early influences include blues, rock, and funk with later forays into traditional and acid jazz as well as hints of hip-hop. Critics have hailed their debut CD "Can-O-Biscuits" as "stronger more focused than most of the music you hear from this genre" & "A blues-based Jam Rock Experience." One critic even called out to hippies everywhere saying "Dance away, this disc is perfect for it!" The band has now released their follow up disc titled "Fortune Cookie", and are gearing up for their 2003 fall tour by playing select venues around the Midwest.
