On February 23 Jupiter 4H project played it first gig in upstate NY. The band will be a doing a tour of the North East in the fall of 2002. The band members are Scott Schipper (former long time member of tripping billies) on guitar and 6 string banjo, John Nau (the famous amp builder) on bass, Shawn Sullivan (of Woody Dodge fame) on drums, and Dan Franklin (Medicine Man) on guitar. We are please to have as a new member Bruce Diamond (also ex long time member of tripping billies) on fiddle and mandolin.
The music is a collection of songs written by Scott and fit well in the Groove/jam band category. Hard rock to bluegrass and funk are blended with some interesting hooks and rhythms into songs that people will remember.
