The members of Lewd Buddha create a tasty form of "Sonic Gumbo," blending hard rock, funk, soul, and blues with a dash of Latin flavor. Lewd Buddha has been described as Dave Matthews + Santana + Gov't Mule.
The majority of this 7 piece band met on stage watching each other in perspective bands. Lab work is all well and good but Lewd Buddha is at its mouth-watering best in front of a live audience. "We love playing live because basically we are all hams. We all thrive on that instant gratification that comes with seeing people's faces and feeling their energy." Buddha's unique parts are what make it the musical sensation that it is.

Often they are joined by Grammy nominated Guitarist Joaquin Lievano, Rich Mancini on Saxophone and Drummer/Percussionist Eddie Torres.
Lewd Buddha has finished recording their SECOND - Long Awaited CD, LIFE IN INTERESTING TIMES, and has been playing around New York and New Jersey's clubs to enthusiastic response. A CD release party is expected in November 2005.
