Upon first beginning to play music at age 5, Matt Hartle knew what he wanted to do, and hasn't stopped since. After studying jazz for four years at the University of North Texas, Matt has been playing in various groups ranging from jazz to country to rock 'n' roll. As the lead guitarist for Shady Groove since August 2001, Matt found his niche, honing his skills as a guitarist, singer and songwriter.
