Artist Guide » Rock » Jam-band » SOAP: Soap
The four members of Soap are Dave Rehfeldt on drums, Skyler Krapf on piano, Ross Taylor on bass and lead vocals, and Erich Krapf on lead guitar.

Four gifted musicians.. one unique sound.. Soap delivers a kinetic blend of diverse songwriting, and virtuosic ability. It's obvious to anyone with ears that a new day has come; not just for Soap, but for rock and roll itself.

Soap is an experimental rock fusion jam band. They would be categorized as Rock, but elements of Alternative and Grunge have been blended with Jazz, Classical, and Country to produce a very unique Jam. Their lighthearted and often whimsical songs reflect their positive outlook on life.

In May and June of 2005 Soap recorded their newest LP "Lather" due to be released February 14th, 2006 by Digitone. The CD was recorded at Apocalypse Cow, in Montgomery, IL, and Mixed and Mastered by Bill McElroy at Slipped Disc in Ashland, VA. Three singles “Out of Luck”, “Penguin”, and “Miles Dankis” from “Lather” will be released for radio airplay in January 2006.

Soap will embark on a national 42 date summer concert tour to promote “Lather” starting in Late May and finishing in August, 2006.
