From the opening track "It Never Gets Easier", to the closing piano ballad "Going Away", the listener gets a great sense for Bob's 60's-70's rock influence. Influences like The Beatles, Beach Boys, and Neil Young to name a few. Lyrically, the record paints an honest portrait of one man's struggle to seek Christ and respond to His calling. One particular highlight is the praise song, "I Love You", which packs an infectious melody with musical twists that will keep you wanting more. Well-crafted songs and heartfelt lyrics make Bob Gerig's "Unravel This" a great addition to any music collection.
