Leaving her music therapy job behind, in 1991 a 9,000 mile bicycle trip, with guitar in tow, led Brenda to a serendipitous stop at the Kerrville Folk Festival. It was then that she knew her future was in recording and performing her own material. Based in the Texas Hill Country since that time, Brenda has traded in her bicycle touring for touring with her music in England and Ireland, as well as the Midwest, Southwest, and West Coast of the United States.
Brenda Freed currently has 3 CD's to her credit with a fourth one on the way in 2004 with her new group, Texas Hot Flash - a cappella and then some.
