Broken Bridges is the second release from EasyChair in less than one year. The album tells a tale of love, loss, indulgence and every day struggle.
The band once again shows their diversity and vast influences. There is the latin feel of the title track, the jazzy style of "For Four", and the country influence of "The Best Of Me". Broken Bridges also reaches to the other end with the edgy tracks of "Carolina Sunshine", "Love Me or Leave Me Alone" and "The Rowadd", a Zeppelinesque tale of life on the road. The album also lays back with mellower, personal songs like "long Distance Lullaby", "Raise A Glass" and "What I Know Now". The band demonstrates their vocal ability with tracks like "The Other Me" and "All About You". The final track is a live studio version of "New Orleans Lady" from the first album. This time it was recorded as written and done the old fashioned way. One mic, one track, one take, no editing allowed. The songs are all written and arranged by the EasyChair.
