How many times have you heard bands confidently proclaim that they are boldly making "new" music unlike anything that has been done before, only to pop it in the CD player and hear the same old chord progressions and rhymes recycled countless times by thousands of others. The Glorious Dregs steer clear of all that pretentiousness. The author of Ecclesiastes said it best, there really is "nothing new under the sun". Furthermore, all the songs on this album were originally conceived by Glorious Dregs' singer/songwriter David White from the mid eighties to the early nineties, not exactly hot off the presses.

However, after these old, moldy tunes got some of the cheese cut away, they hold up remarkably well. It's modern rock gospel with guest appearances from some of Vertical Focus' talented members. It's good music you'll listen to over and over again, but is it "new"? Hardly. ;)
