James Carroll is an artist/musician who resides in Toronto. Although mostly performing as a singer/songwriter he is just as likely to be hired as a lead guitarist by other singer/songwriters because of his ability to not overplay on other people's material and at the same time enhance their performance. His "A Big House" album is the second in a series of independant releases that consist of original roots rock offerings. This album opens with the hard driving title track,"A Big House" and contains rock'n'roll, boogie, country and instrumental selections such as "Hydrangea". This is a must have album if you are a guitar fan and the tunes are solid, sad, funny and honest pieces that will make your foot stomp and keep you waiting for the next one to kick in!
