Since 2001, Mike Diplomat has been consistently performing shows in and around the greater Boston area.
Mike Diplomat has regularly headlined and performed at area venues such as Paradise Rock Club, The Middle East, The Linwood, Kendall Café, and The Attic, filling many of those clubs to capacity. Mike Diplomat and his band have shared the stage with many regional acts, including Dr Awkward, Baby Strange, Mark Cutler, Elcodrive, Labb, The Good North, Amanda Palmer's Dresden Dolls, The Mockingbirds, and Fire In The Boathouse.
Mike Diplomat's music has been played on WBCN, WFNX, and WBRU Radio as well as on a variety of college radio staions. His recordings and live shows have been reviewed by Soundcheck, The Noise, Skope, and several internet publications.
Mike Diplomat's debut CD, "Between the Lines" was released in 2002 on FlamGlam Records in June of 2002. "Between the Lines" is available at Newbury Comics locations as well as through the band's website at www.mikediplomat.com.
