Stu Harcourt native to Melbourne Australia,produced 'Coming of Age'with the concept of producing the album in Melbourne and also Toronto Canada,while living abroad playing and recording with various musicians. Title Track 'Coming of Age'already making finalist in The Winddrift Songwrting Competition,Canada.
History of Stu going solo starts as;
Summer 99 with a little help from friends tracks were layed down at Woodstock Studio, Melbourne, which became a 5song EP titled 'Goodtime Rushhour,' self produced by Stu. Mid-year 99 Stu¹s longing to travel again was fulfilled touring through Europe for 5months,visiting musicains friends from previous years. Playing acoustic gigs in countries as;Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Italy. Stu reflects, "An inspirational time to write,sing and play music with great people." On return from Europe songwriting and gigs continued,also airplay on independent radio.
Busy rehearsing with a lineup which consist of John Hardyman(BASS), Gino Sarincino(Drums),and an additional Jim Cowie on Violin,this line up is named affectionately Stu and DR.B, Playing several gigs around Melbourne,including the Darebin Festival, and a Anti-Cancer foundation fund-raiser. With so much material written it was time to start recording, Sepember 2000.
Recording 9tracks at Woodstock Studio,engineered by Robin Mai,(who has recorded the likes of Killing Heidi/ Black Sorrows/Bachelor Girl to name a few.) January 2001 travel started again, relocating to Toronto Canada, where Stu produced 2 tracks 'Bar Crawl' inspired by patio season...and 'Growin Up'.
