The Nick Strange Band is a power trio variety band. This recording features dynamic guitar, drum, and bass interplay as it was largely recorded live in the studio. The arrangements of the songs go several steps past the standard “pop†layout yet are not so obscure that they become inaccessible. Lyrically it focuses on the disconnectedness between people during these modern times. Smoothly and evocatively sung with lush harmonies, it makes for a multi-textured collection of thirteen songs.
