"Elementary Physics" is the second studio album from the unpronounceable. The group has been hard at work since the release of their first album 'simultaneous organisms' in 2000 and subsequent home-grown bootleg releases in 2001. Recorded in a Pennsylvania farmhouse and a Jersey City, NJ home studio during the spring of 2002, the 5-song EP attempts to capture the magic of the six-piece quartet's live show.
Released on Mogens Music, the unpronounceable's independent label, "Elementary Physics" is available at live shows and through CDBaby.com. All songs, with the exception of the crowd-pleasing 'Iron Man', were written and produced entirely by the unpronounceable. Pete Gustavson, Dan Kinsley, Adam Gustavson, and Phil Guidi comprise the musical group, each member taking on more than his share of instruments. The album exposes the group's growing penchant for melding jazz, blues, and rock influences.

the unpronounceable, formed in 1997, is comprised of four members - Phil Guidi (percussion), Dan Kinsley (guitar, upright bass, piano), Adam Gustavson (guitar and upright bass), and Pete Gustavson (vocals, guitar, upright bass). They have performed in Philadelphia, New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley, and New York, and have quickly become a hometown favorite, performing frequently at the Main Street Pub and The Funhouse.
the unpronounceable's four-man six-piece jazz-blues-rock band swaps instruments on stage and draws on influences as diverse as Duke Ellington, Radiohead, and Black Sabbath. This summer they were selected to take part in the first-ever tour created by CD Baby, the 2nd-largest online retailer of independent music. The tour, dubbed “TourBabyâ€, featured the best local talent across 54 cities in the U.S. More recently, their song “Ugly†won the unpronounceable a 2002 Lehigh Valley Music Award for Best Original Song.
