With a musical style rooted in reggae with pop hooks and tinged with rock, Grenada born Denison George creates a sound that is both catchy and engaging. He has a strong local fan base in New York City driven by the successful eps he released as a teenager with his brother.
The first full length release by Denison George on Vie Records was the 11 song "Sinful Citay" which jolted the international music scene, "Forgiveness" reached #7 on the reggae charts in Europe and "No Sell Out" charted to #2 in the Caribbean. Sydney Mills from Steel Pulse, and Johnny Young, an American rock artist, produced the songs. Denison supported this by touring the United Kingdom, North America, and the Caribbean to huge crowds. Sinful Citay was an independent success, selling over 18,000 units worldwide.
A self-taught musician has matured into a talented songwriter and captivating concert performer. Denison even wrote the theme song for the off Broadway play, "The Mermaid Wakes".
In the meantime, Denison earned college degrees in law, as well as a BS and MA. Aside from the education, this has been beneficial for his growing fan base and has given him a presence on the college concert circuit.
