Ralf Illenberger has composed and produced music for over 25 years. The Grammy nominee (for Narada's Passion for Guitar) has released 18 CDs and performed in over 50 countries. Craig Ramsell is best known as the inventor of the Boomwhackers® Tuned Percussion Tubes and is also President of Whacky Music, Inc. Having played primarily classical guitar most of his adult life, he avidly plunged into the vast world of percussion after coming up with the idea for the Musical Tubes. This is his first professional recording.

ABOUT BOOMWHACKERS TUNED PERCUSSION TUBES

The colorful plastic Boomwhackers® Musical Tubes are tuned by length to musical notes. Invented by Craig Ramsell in 1994, over 2 million Tubes have been sold by Whacky Music, Inc., as of this writing. They are a favorite tool of music educators around the world for teaching music to children and were selected by Parents' Choice Foundation for their Best 25 Toys in 25 Years Award. They are also a favorite of music therapists and of group facilitators for rhythm based events. They've been used in performance and on professional recordings, but this is the first CD in which they've been prominently featured in every song.

They are produced in a 2-1/2 octave range, including sharps/flats, and Octavator™ Tube Caps add another octave to the range.
