People say these songs cure headache. I guess it's love in there that cures. I asked one young fan, why was she coming to 25 Urb concerts in a row? She smiled and said that she had asked the same question for herself too. Then, during the next concert she had watched the audience. When the Urb brothers sing, everybody in the audience feels loved.
With their great songs, guitar and harmonica, the Urbs have performed the concert halls, temples, schools, universities, theaters, TV, the Native People's campfires and sacred ceremonies in Russia, Sweden, Finland, Germany, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Brazil, Japan, China, Canada, USA and Estonia. Their songs are believed to heal, to sooth the soul. Lot of people come to the Urbs to tell that the Urbs songs had helped them out at some point of their lives.Some Native tribes use their songs as a medicine music.
The fans often ask: after all the hell you've been through - the Soviet jails and mental institutions, the actual defection from the USSR in order to save your lives etc., how come your songs are so gentle? The brothers say: In the country of Darkness, every firefly is a dissident, because it shows Light. The strong must be gentle. THERE'S NO SPIRITUALITY WITHOUT THE SENSE OF HUMOR! :)
The novel based on their life,"Kaksi Kaupunkia"(Two Cities) was published in Finland and has sold two printings.
