Brazilian conga player and master percussionist Dudu Tucci has been a major inspiration for Sambistas from all over Germany. A thriving Samba scene can be found in all major cities with big festivals in Coburg, Munich and Bremen.
The joy of Brazilian carnaval, especially from Rio, Bahia and Pernambuco has given life to more than 150 bands and batucadas, some of them carrying the flame to cold German carnaval and onto this compilation which features original compositions of the most creative bands.
